David Oscar Attacks Blogger Who Said ‘Ghanaian Comedians Are Not Funny

To make one laugh, its not an easy task.
Comedy in Ghana is not as strong as the movie and music industry but hopes are high that it will get better as time goes on.

For sometime now, the comedy in
Ghana is gaining much attention as DKB, David Oscar, Funny Face, Nhyiraba Foster, David Aglah and other comedians are working hard to develop that side of the industry.

Zionfelix.com yesterday reported an opinion written by Ebenezer Anangfio in Monday’s edition of Graphic Showbiz asking if Ghanaian comedians are even funny

[READ IT HERE]. In his article, he said;

“Aside Funny Face, other comedians who have been on the comedy scene have not impressed.

I can understand why Ghanaians will scream for home grown comedians to be given the opportunity, but then we
should not forget that, comedy is business not a show of patriotism whereby people are given opportunities because they are Ghanaian comedians.”

David Oscar, a comedian has called
Anangfio, the writer a stomach blogger.

In his post on instagram he wrote;
CorporateComedySeries has been on the road 5times and still counting.

All these minus the number of Tertiary institutions we have and continue to tour.

Does @anangfio think all the people we’ve
entertained believe there are no comedians in Ghana?

Come again my friend. Don’t deceive yourself.

He continued to post a tweet which
happened between him and Ebenezer last year and wrote this about it.

That was him when the premiere of
#corporatecomedyseries was trending on twitter.

He shamelessly took the link and tweeted the story. When he was
confronted, that was his tweet aa u can see.

Now this same nitwit turns around to write shit about me again.
