Ghanaian female entertainment and TV personalities unite to fight cervical cancer




A group of Ghanaian female celebrities have been selected for a campaign aimed at tackling the high rate of Cervical Cancer in the country. Nana Ekua Asanteba Mensah and  Zenaida Morrison of Viasat 1, Sherifa Gunu, Gloria Sarfo, Roselyn Ngissah, and Agnes Ntow are collaborating with The Kultiva Group and the Cervical Cancer Unit of the Ridge Hospital to educate, screen and create public awareness of the disease.

The exercise is themed, “what every woman should know”, and falls under the ‘Every Woman 2013’ project, which comes off at the Regimanuel Grey Golden Gate Club house, Spintex on May 12.This is the first ever women empowerment programme by the Kultiva Group. It will address issues surrounding the health of Ghanaian woman, specifically the subject of cervical cancer.The event is jointly supported by the Cervical Cancer/Paps Smear Centre of the Ridge Hospital, Accra
