Does Penis Size Matter? Scientists Have An Answer

It’s the question that never dies. Men and women have been debating it for years—is it the size of
the wave or the motion of the ocean? Scientists think they have an answer.

According to a new study, penis size does matter… kind of. And only for some women and for certain types of orgasms. The study, published in
the Journal of Sexual Medicine, found that women who have frequent vaginal orgasms are more
likely to do so with men who have larger penises. The same goes for women who say they prefer penile-vaginal intercourse over other types of sex.

The study asked 323 women to recall their past sexual encounters and answer questions about
how important penile-vaginal intercourse and other sex acts were to them, along with whether
or not penis length affected their ability to orgasm through vaginal stimulation.

They also asked the women if they were more likely to
orgasm vaginally with a longer- or shorter-than-average penis. (For those of you frantically looking for measuring tape, they defined average as between 5.8 and 6.1 inches long—about the size of a U.S. dollar bill, for handy measuring
purposes.)

About half (160) of the women in the study had vaginal orgasms and enough experience to compare size experiences with past partners.

That’s significantly different than the oft-quoted stat that 75 percent of women don’t orgasm through intercourse alone. Of these 160 women,60 percent actually said size made no difference, but a statistically significant number (33.8
percent) said they preferred longer-than-average size. 6.3 percent preferred partners with shorter-
than-average penises.

For some researchers, this study goes into a murky area, making women feel like there is a
“right” or “better” way to orgasm. “Women who orgasm through vaginal stimulation may indeed
prefer longer penises, but not everyone prefers to orgasm that way,” female sexual response
researcher Barry Komisaruk told LiveScience.

Beverly Whipple, one of the discoverers of the G-spot, chimes in, warning against getting worked up over these findings. “To me, all of this is just so goal-oriented, and it’s difficult for me to see researchers setting up another goal [vaginal orgasm] for women to experience,” she said.

#HipHopFestival:Dance performance by Hurlant Corps|Date:21st November|Time:8pm|Venue:Alliance Française Accra (@AF_Accra)

In a choreographer’s mind, the world of emotions is defined by body language. It is important to observe different styles of hip-hop, each with its energy to complement and help promote the message to get across.

This dance analyzes the behavior of man who likes to appear strong despite inner suffering that eats away his very soul.

In permanent imbalance, the two Caribbean performers use an inner strength to guide dance in front of a system that does not fail and sometimes seems intransigent.

#HipHopFestival:Dance workshop by Hurlant Corps|Date:19-21 Nov 2014|Venue:Alliance Française Accra (@AF_Accra)

David Milome created the company « Hurlant Corps » in 1996 to promote hip-hop dance in Martinique.

From 2000 he has .performed numerous shows whose success crossed the border of Caribbean to Africa as well as Europe.

Two dancers of the .company (David Milome and Kévin Marie-Jeanne) will offer an exceptional workshop on hip-hop dance (lockin’, break, poppin’) training in basic technical skills of dance with emphasis on body awareness, placement, flexibility and
some improvisation.

#HipHopFestival: Graffiti workshop with Marko93|Date:17-21 Nov 2014|Venue:Alliance Française Accra (@AF_Accra)

Marko93 is considered one of the most talented artistes of his generation.

This urban graffiter progressed in
tag and graffiti while prospecting in several related disciplines. In 1994 he invented the ‘calligraphism’ (mixture of Arabic calligraphy & graffiti), and developed the light-painting in 1999 (graffiti in 3D thanks to a
system of portable lamps).

His many travels around the world have fed his inspiration and techniques, a wonderful experience he intends to share with Hip-Hop music lovers.

EDEM UNLEASHES MUST LISTEN ALBUM ‘’BOOKS N RHYMES’’

Edem has proven his mettle in the game with the corporate launch of his third studio album, dubbed "Books and Rhymes " at the Holiday Inn.

In an industry where most rappers who lack confidence in the ability to sell albums, would hold a launch at a club hoping to make some money from ticket sells, Edem chose a different path deciding that his album launch be a strictly
by invitation affair.

The invited guests in attendance included Anita Erskine, who was the chairman, KOD and Peace Hyde who were the MCs, Comedian David Oscar who had the crowd in stitches, X.O Senavoe, Nana Yaa serwaa
Sarpong and a host of other celebrities and media persons.
The event began on time, as David Oscar picked the mic and went straight for the kill. Emblems of
Hennesy, Club beer, African Cola and other corporate entities around symbolized belief in Edem and association with the launch. KOD
carried the night through with spectacular delivery aided by curvy Peace Hyde.

Edem took the microphone and gave the crowd a Live-Band feel of materials on the album backed
by the Afro-Harmony band. This was an unprecedented act, as Edem executed this task with excellence making one feel like they were at
a live studio recording session for each track.

Joining him first was Stonebwoy who exuded energy as they performed "Go harder", other
performers included Kaakie, Akwaboah, Lil Shaker Kesse and Gemini who was invited to rock the
crowd with Edem. During one performance, Edem was signaled to wrap up the performance, however the love for his art and fans, drove him to go on and on; he became a slave to the music and a god over the melody.

Edem finally took a pause and the album was unveiled, the album artwork spoke maturity and
growth, driving patrons to purchase framed copies for thousands of cedis, these patrons included
KOD, Kojo Kantanka and Tony.

Edem was again possessed by the music, as he grabbed the mic
and dished carefully cooked lyrics from tracks such as "The One” and "Koene" , the elated crowd seemed to have caught Edem's rhythmic fever as they stood up and sang along.

The launch was at this point rounded up and patrons were ushered into a plush cocktail, this
was an opportunity to network and discuss; most patrons discussed Edem's audacious actions over
sumptuous bites. His ability to release a 26 track album speaks volumes of the trust he has in his
fans and his art, the album also features 16 of Africa's hottest acts, including Samini, M.I, Casper Novyest, Iceprince Zamani, Ice Queen Cleo, Black Prophet and others.

This production also features 11 producers. Edem has begun a
revolution that will give new life to the industry; a fact hinted at by hiplife grandpapa Reggie Rockstone in a video played at the launch.

The Books and Rhymes album promises to be a foundation on which the temple of African music
shall be erected.

Big Question: Can a Human Outrun a Cheetah?

At the Summer Olympics, you’ll see lots of fast human beings racing each other. But how would those runners finish in a race against the fastest land animal on Earth? What animal is that? The cheetah, of course!

The cheetah’s scientific name is Acinonyx jubatus . If you’ve ever seen pictures of a cheetah , you know that
it is a large member of the feline ( cat) family. You can find cheetahs throughout most of Africa and parts of
the Middle East.

The cheetah is by far the fastest land animal living on Earth.

How fast you might be wondering? Very fast! Scientists estimate that cheetahs can reach speeds between 70-75 miles per hour. Of course, they can’t sustain that high speed over long distances, but they can go that fast in short bursts that can cover up to 1,600 feet or more.

Cheetahs can reach those speeds very quickly, too. A cheetah’s explosive speed can take it from 0 to over 62 miles per hour in just three seconds. Now that’s
fast! In fact, it’s about as fast as the world’s most expensive sports cars can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour.

Why are cheetahs so fast? Scientists have identified several features of the cheetah that help it achieve such amazing speeds.

For example, cheetahs are one of only three types of cats that have semi- retractable claws. This means that
cheetahs can’t fully retract their claws like most other cats can. This feature gives cheetahs extra grip when chasing prey .

Cheetahs also have large nostrils that allow them to breathe in more oxygen when running. Their hearts and lungs are also larger than other cats of similar
size, which allows them to circulate oxygen throughout their bodies more efficiently.

Even cheetahs’ tails help them run faster and turn quickly by acting like the rudder of a ship. As they’re running, cheetahs use their tails to help maintain their balance and steer when sharp turns are necessary!

So how much faster are cheetahs compared to humans? Currently, the world’s fastest human being is Jamaican Usain Bolt, who set the world record in the 100-meter dash in 2009 with a blistering time of only 9.58 seconds.

That world record equates to a speed of just over 23 miles per hour. That’s fast, but it’s no match for the cheetah’s over 70 miles per hour!

Edem’s album “Books N Rhymes” launches on November 12

Edem’s highly anticipated album titled “Books N Rhymes” launches in Accra, Ghana on Wednesday, November 12 at Holiday Inn.

It’s a carefully crafted 25-track album which cuts across Afrobeats, Dancehall & HipHop.

The album
features African music heavyweights like Ice Prince, M.I, Cassper Nyovest, Sway, Samini and more.

The corporate launch would have in attendance business parties and companies as well as some notable celebrities from the sub-region.
Edem who granted an interview to Akwasi Sarpong of BBC Africa on the album says, “Books and Rhymes are
the basis of human’s life. Books are what takes us through life, takes us to the greatest of places, gives us power and knowledge; and rhymes are the basis of
our childhood where you are taught to learn twinkle, twinkles little star etc to be able to speak properly.

So I thought it would be creative for me to use this album to gravitate the African continent to schooling themselves.

I rap more in Ewé because I need to sell
the sub-region where I am coming from even though it is very difficult to do it because you have to kick away the stigma of people saying it cannot stand the test of time and you have to do it so well from a marketing perspective.”

Edem is an African Rap Mogul who promotes literacyP through his style of music with the fusion of the Ewé
language and creole to reach a wider fan base across West Africa (especially the ones who speak Ewe too) and all over the rest of the African continent.

The “Books N Rhymes” album would be available on sale on 32 online markets including iTunes when it’s
fully launched.

The album launch is sponsored by Hennessy, Afri Cola,S. Pellegrino, Holiday Inn and others.

The album launch with be hosted by Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD) and Peace Hyde.
