Aurelia Republic signed Hiplife and HipHop performing artiste Hecta has collaborated with Nigeria born Ghanaian Afrobeat artiste Spicer on his Afrobeat single ‘Accelerate’ .A great song with a classic melody.

One of Ghana’s hardworking and talented Gospel musician Godwin Jenner Lamptey popularly known as Sefaaji has finally released his  debut ‘U Saved Me’ after saying good bye to Hiplife few years ago.

Sefaaji a former member of Hiplife group Tubees (The Understanding Brothers) which also include Kosi Bone released the song on Saturday 1^st August, 2015 through internet free downloads on Showbiz GH.

Why Sefaji quits Tubees and said good bye to Hiplife music.

Sefaaji was previously  known for his massive contribution towards the progress of his former group ‘Tubees’ which was doing well as one of the budding Hiplife music group in Ghana beside D2,Dobble and others at the time.

However the ‘u saved me’ composer stated categorically that it was time for him to move on as a solo artiste to fast track his call on earth not underrating the contribution of the group towards his career as a musician.

On Hiplife music; he explained the genre wasn’t his call. “It was more of a U-turn for me. Because I started singing from church, I performed at several church related events and it was time to respond to the divine call from above.

‘U saved me’ is good song many will consider ‘alternative’ because of it deviation from the regular gospel music known in Ghana. But the great composition, vocal delivery and message gave the song a higher class.

The song is a single off his forth coming studio album ‘Heart Prints’ produced by Dugudbeatz.

Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Femi  has announced he will be performing this weekend on Tv3’s ‘Music Music’ show this weekend 1^st of August, 2015. The ‘Burning Desire’ crooner who just dropped a great video to give his debut a great visual impression made the public announcement via a Facebook post on Tuesday 28^th of July saying “Hi fam catch me live on Tv3 Music Music this Saturday as I perform Burning Desire with Iwan……”

He told Showbiz GH exclusively that this is his first time performing on the big platform sponsored by telecommunication giant Tigo and he is particularly honored.

He also added that he is excited because he will be sharing the stage with the lyrical gunshot Iwan whom he featured on the song produced by Shottoh Blinqx.

Ghanaian Gospel Sensation Minister Rapture is one of the great acts who will be performing at the official launch of Kasapa 103.3 Fm  coming Friday 31^st of July 2015 at the forecourt of the station in Accra. One of the biggest stage this weekend

Nana Yaw  a management member confirmed the information with a tweet early Wednesday morning saying “Can’t wait for @MinisterRapture to perform at Kasapa Official launch on the 31^st of July……”

However Magma Entertainment which happens to be the home of Minister Rapture also confirmed it when contacted by Showbiz GH and also added that the platform offered by the radio station is a privilege for Minister Rapture and they are very grateful.

This will be one of the major stages the ‘Baba’ hit maker will be performing after the launch of his official website ‘ministerrapture.com’ few weeks ago.

Over the weekend, Mobile and Mixtape disc jockey, Dj Black Boi together with Showbiz GH and Sela Radio staged a street carnival at the forecourt of Uni-Petrol in Sogakope to climax the month long fasting and prayer by Muslim brothers and sisters living the area.

The show which lasted for less than four hours,started at exactly 8pm that Saturday and  witnessed a great performances by a good number  fast rising stars including the likes of Reggae and Dancehall Artiste Jpinga, Kosi Bone,Tukada,Shaggy Mensa and ‘Greenlite’ hit makers Phame.

Sogakope’s home grown talents mostly from the ‘zongo community’ were given the platform to exhibit their talents serving as a curtain raiser.

The show  ‘Sogakope Sallafest’ according to Dj Black Boi was planned in less than a week, but effectively  publicized and promoted by the all new ‘Sela Radio’ and Showbiz GH causing over two thousand music lovers attending the carnival. He also added there is a major concert in the pipeline and will be communicated to the public  in the fullness of time.

Commenting on their impressions after their performances Jphinga and Kosi Bone expressed their satisfaction about the show and also applauded the organizers for putting up a good show in less than a week. Budding music group Phame who couldn’t hide their excitement added ‘We will be back again’. 

However Hecta who was initially billed to rock but couldn’t turn out sent a message prompting his fans he will surely come through some other time.

After successful  shut downs  in Swedru,Winneba and Kasoa, the Akuaba Concert tour makes another stop inside the 'Dam City' of Akosombo this weekend, 18^th July 2015.

Koo Ntakra and his team, KN Records together with  Akosombo based event group 'Damcity Empire' will stage what will be the young artist's  first ever visit to the city of Ghana’s  electrical energy and  the fourth destination of his album tour, which started  earlier in May this year. 

The MTN Hit maker   who is using this tour to promote his debut album and his brand to new audience countrywide  will be join on stage by colleagues, Phrame, Empra Amslin, King Malbro whom he has collaborated with on different songs. Other artist  expected to perform on the day includes Aurelia Republic signed Hiplife performing artiste,Fiamor, Ahaben, PhynoMarble  and many others.

The Akosombo edition of the 'Akuaba Concert Tour' is specifically schedule to celebrate this year’s Ramadan festival with his Muslim fans hence the ‘Sallah fest’ edition. 

Meanwhile the management of the artist has hinted, the Akosombo trip will end the first phase of the tour to make way for a busy July/August for the artist which will see him release a couple of new song, as well as work on videos to be released in the coming months.

The second phase of the ‘Akuaba Concert Tour’ will start from September, as the team prepare for the grand concert to be staged later in October to wrap it off.
